Talk about some bullshit... they are even banning parts and riding gear! resale is also banned. I would hope everyon will help spread the word...."We all know that our kids aren’t out in the garage chewing on engine cases. Help the MIC, SVIA and OEMs by giving input on this topic to local, state and national legislators. " there is a link on the right side of the page with instructions and links.

Here's the article from the Star News. Just can't leave well enough alone. We don't need no fancy accomodations or bath-houses. We're ATV riders, we search out mud for pete sake! If you require running water and electricity while you "camp", there's a KOA just down the road from Bigwoods!

Well for the record...I have been to a few meetings with a few different agencies this week so far.....and they aren't playing around. The days of things being simple @ BIGWOODS seem to be over. It may be nessecary for us all to attend a zoning hearing before the Brunswick Co. Zoning board in June to show our supportfor BIGWOODS while they try to make sure we can "DO WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING LEGALLY". I know that I will be there either way.
So much for keeping it simple. Those days are over. If the monies to come "INTO COMPLIANCE" exceed the monies on hand...we can all get ready to start fucking trespassing again and riding down the road. Apparently we are a "PARK" instead of a "CLUB" although never once have we referred to ourselves as a "PARK". I personally see no difference between what we do versus a hunting club...but the county does because of the camping overnight. We can either cut out overnights or we can hopefully get a provisional use zoning permit for us to gather as a CLUB.
And this my friends is just the TIP of the ICEBERG...stay tuned

Great....just %#^$%'ing great. Porkchop, I don't fully get all the legal crap, but whatever you may need, I'm behind you. If we all need to attend the zoning meeting, then that's what we'll do. If you enjoy having a fun place to ride that has really cool owners/hosts that bend over backwards for you, you need to support our club. Or, like Porkchop said, be prepared to ride on private property & trespass and get run off by the law.
If everyone is such ATV enthuiasts like the posts and pics depict, lets do what needs to be done!

May be the differences in the counties but it makes you wonder how busco gets away with it. Last time I was there I don't recall shower facilities but yet they serve food. Wonder what enviromental health has to say about it
