Overheating problem
Posted: Mon Jun 15, 2009 5:30 pmI've got a 07 king quad 700 and the problem is it keeps running hot. Here's the catch it does it after i have rode about 10 to 15 miles give or take. The radiator is clean has been cleaned with coil cleaner the fluid level is good i just changed the thermostat thinking it might be getting stuck. When it does get hot it spits all the anti freeze out of the overflow bottle. It only has 400 miles on it and is still like new. I am begining to think it is the water pump and was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or has any idea what could be causing it. i rode the other day just on a dirt road and never went over 30 mph and it ran hot right when i was at the house and i probably rode 12 miles before it did it. Any suggestions!!!! It has me confused. thanks for any ideas.
